As for food or drink options, there just wasn't much to choose from at this terminal. I was lucky to find a small table. It was super crowded, so I was constantly being whacked or bumped by people's backpacks or luggage.
Service was okay. I was just getting a glass of wine before my red eye flight, so I wasn't there too long. It got the job done. -

Avoid. AVOID. It's not the cost: you must expect that Airport companies have to cover the cost of rent, it's to be expected. It's the service, and the quality. Or, lack there off.
First, sandwiches are literally transported from a convenience store. As in, they unwrap them, price tag and all, at the counter. So, don't expect quality. The "chowder in a bread bowl".... It's not that you'd be expecting ground breaking quality chowder. But, the bread bow was chewy, like, chewing gum. The 1/4 cup of chowder (likely from a pan), was so hot it burned my mouth: as in, blisters, burnt.
Our service was horrible. "Hi. What do you want?". "If you don't know yet, I'll just come back". (Insert 10 minutes). "Is that all? No drinks? Just water? Plain water?"
Following the lack luster meal, we watched our server leave. As it was getting closer to departure time, I walked up to the bar and asked for our bill. They sent another server out, brought our server back, who printed out bill, and then left, again. We attempted to pay at the counter, and they sent someone out for the server, again.
It's not that you'd expect superb service at an airport, just that you'd expect...service. -

Great chili bowl for being in the airport. Get the bread bowl; totally worth it!
I almost go a sandwich but noticed the next table over got them and they were pre-packaged; avoided!
Having a beer and waiting for my flight. Enjoying the 90s techno blaring sandstorm, hah! -

Worst sports bar. It's so bad that I had to write a review. I haven't written a review on yelp in one year. It's 1/1/15 and the rose bowl game started at 2pm but everyone is leaving including us to go to the food court. Everyone else like us sat down before 2pm so we could watch the game. The "sports bar" is empty now at 2:32pm.
It shouldn't even be called a sports bar. We expect 1) good bar food 2) good selection of beers/alcoholic beverages 3) tvs to watch sports 4) service
1) the menu is small. See the picture. Everything is pre-packaged. No appetizers or munchies. They ran out of everything but the pre-packaged turkey sandwich. The food is from California pizza kitchen. I recommend to go to CPK which is in the airport so you get a larger freshly cooked selection.
2) they ran out of some beer and it tasted stale.
3) they have 5 tvs. All of them were airing a general ESPN channel except one which was showing the rose bowl game! Everyone around us asked the waitress if all the tvs could be changed to show the rose bowl but after 30 mins nothing happened. I overheard One waitress even saying to another customer who was asking to change the channel that we asked to change it to the parade! Ummmm I'm thinking she mixed up Rose Bowl with the Rose parade?! Epic fail.
4) service just sucked. Everything just took a long time.
The only thing this place has going for it is location. We left to eat at gordon biersch and got pizza within a couple mins while watching the rose bowl.
This bar needs better food and a staff that's knowledgable in sports. -

They are out of quite a few beverages, including 2 tap beers, not too good for a sports bar. Unfortunately there are only 2 "restaurants" located in this terminal, so it's either here or Mexican food.
The atmosphere is like a typical sports bar, and tends to be noisy.
They appear to not have a kitchen, and their food comes in plastic containers from California Pizza Kitchen.
They do serve generous proportions though, which makes up for their faults.
